Terminal disinfectant for Open Plant Applications
TERSAN is a versatile and effective QAC disinfectant suitable for open plant applications throughout food, beverage and dairy industries.
Key Properties:
TERSAN has excellent disinfectant properties against a wide range of micro-organisms. Extensive laboratory and field tests have shown that Tersan is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (including pathogens of Salmonella, Campylobactor and Listeria species) and yeasts.
TERSAN has been extensively tested using the BSEN1276 European Bacteria Suspension Test at 20°C and the PR EN 1650 Fungicidal Activity suspension tests at 20°C.
TERSAN is recommended for application in all open plant cleaning processes. It should be applied after surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned and rinsed. It can be used for disinfecting floors, walls, utensils and other food preparation equipment and is suitable for use in meat and poultry processors, snack foods, vegetable processing, dairies, beverage plants and most other types of food processing operations.
TERSAN is suitable for manual soak or spray application and for fogging use.
It is recommended that TERSAN has a 5-10 minute contact time on food surfaces and is rinsed with clean water at low pressure.

USE INSTRUCTIONS:
TERSAN is used at concentrations between 1.00 – 5% depending on applications. Always rinse thoroughly after use. For specific details please refer to individual Cleaning Instruction Cards.

TERSAN is safe when applied as recommended for use on materials commonly found in the processed food industry. Always rinse surfaces thoroughly after use.
In the event of uncertainly it is advisable to evaluate individual materials before any prolonged use.
